Cochise Stronghold Painting

Inspired by a brilliant sunset reflecting against the Dragoon Mountains near Tombstone, Arizona, this painting is a perfect way to add a pop of color to your walls.

The Dragoon Mountains were the winter home of Chief Cochise and the Chiricahua Apache. This is one of my favorite areas to camp and explore the rounded boulders, narrow ravines, and rocky slopes. The mountains hold an air of mysticism and have inspired many of my paintings.
