Paco and I are featured in one of my all-time favorite magazines, and I am beyond thrilled.
WHERE WOMEN CREATE, Inspiring Workspaces of Extraordinary Women, is a magazine that takes you into the magical studio spaces of women creators.
The photography is stunning, the stories are always inspirational, and I have spent years poring over the beautiful pages, envious of the lush studios and awe-struck by the amazing creators.
Now, I am one of the extraordinary women featured in those pages!
I still can’t believe it’s true, even when I’m holding the magazine and flipping through the pages. It is a dream fulfilled and an absolute honor to be included alongside so many remarkable women.
We are featured in the Pet Tales segment, which celebrates studio pets. It feels like the perfect fit for me because, as we all know, Paco is the real star of our van adventures. He is my constant painting companion as well.
The Where Women Create summer issue will be available starting June 12, 2026.
You can find them in several places. Barnes & Noble is the largest distributor, and therefore the best bet. I’ve seen them at Books-A-Million (for all you Tulsa-area readers) and smaller local bookstores. Big-box hobby stores, like Michaels, sometimes carry them, and I’ve even found them in grocery store magazine aisles.
