Juniper Tote Bag

I am absolutely fascinated by juniper trees.

Their gnarled bodies, silvered and ragged from harsh desert conditions, contort in gravity-defying angles, and bare branches jut toward the sky in twisted spirals like supernatural beings frozen in motion. Walking among them feels like a glimpse into prehistoric times, and they have a certain element of magic that begs me to paint them.

My paintings capture the magical whimsy of junipers. To celebrate their crooked, tattered, weather-worn bodies covered with deep crevices like lines on an aged face. With simple lines and bold colors, I honor each tree as it stands proud of its uniqueness.
