Cochise Country

$30.00

This painting was inspired by a brilliant sunset reflecting against the Dragoon Mountains near Tombstone, Arizona. The Dragoon Mountains were the winter home of Chief Cochise and the Chiricahua Apache. This is one of my favorite areas to camp and explore the rounded boulders, narrow ravines, and rocky slopes. The mountains hold an air of mysticism and have inspired many of my paintings.

This is a one-of-a-kind original oil painting with bold, whimsical colors. Lightweight, easy to hang or sit on a shelf. Tiny home decor. Perfect as a gift or to add a small pop of color to your home or office.

I am currently traveling in a converted camper van across the US with my dog. Nature never fails to fill me with awe, and my artworks are inspired by the ever-changing landscapes through which we travel. Each painting is created outside in nature, so you may discover surprising textures and foreign objects in the paint.
